1. workshop 11-13 May - “New opportunities in Physics Landscape at CERN”
2. if needed follow up with working groups 3. discussion on accelerator options – start 4. workshop on neutrino future options
(organized with Council Study Group) 5. workshop on accelerators – prepare
decision on what to construct at CERN
• call for proposal, suggestions, ideas • message to the comunity • workshop as first step follow up: working groups,
summary after some time depending on the needs (this or next year)
• place: CERN, main auditorium • participation (open), talks (by invitation) • all submitted abstracts published in indico
long term neutrino program plans for/with new machines (Clic, neutrino factory) LHC upgrades astroparticle physics
The plans for neutrino physics, except for CNGS, will not be addressed during this workshop. A dedicated event will be organized at a later stage in conjunction with a working group set up by the Scientific Policy Committee to cover this subject.
