PRELIMINARY TASKS This is my preliminary front page, I feel as if my Photoshop skills have developed significantly. As before I didn’t understand that he layout of magazines and how the masthead has to be large on the font page and how the image has to be large also. On the original I just wasn’t aware of the lay out and structure of magazines and how they were meant to develop.

As I processed with the task my knowledge

developed, which meant I could finally produce this

front cover to the professional level.

PRELIMINARYCONTENTS PAGEMy first contents page lacked detail, structure, and images compared to my final one which has images and detail. The first one you could read it on the screen but on my one now you cant because there is so much information on. Also now I have used different techniques and ideas to challenge conventions.

DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD I didn’t have a double page spread to compare to as it wasn’t part of my preliminary task. To develop I looked at different magazines how they designed and set out there text. I found this design off image on one side more effective, due to a clear image, text and add-on's such as quotes and concert dates.
