Some wrong?
These photographs show what a diverse country Brazil is. It has lots of
contrasting landscapes and has some very rich and very poor people and
places. During this topic we will learn about many aspects of Brazil and it’s
people.
First things first then….

of rain all year round.
The line graphs show us that it is very hot in Brazil all year round. What do you notice about which months are the hottest?
The Brazilian people live crowd around the coast where it is easy to build and there are opportunities to make money
Hardly anybody lives in land due to the hostile environment of the Amazon rainforest.
There are some very famous
Brazilians! Can you think of any
more?
Do you recognise these 2 famous
formula one drivers – past and
present?
Brazil is not without its issues!
Cutting down the rainforest at a rate
of 20 football pitches every
minute!
Why are the Brazilians cutting down the rainforest?
To clear land for farming
And to ranch cattle
To mine for precious minerals
To provide homes and
hotels!
