Everyone had a great time at the crab feed on January 19th. A big thank you to Pauline and her hard working crew putting the meal together. Thank you to Lori and her crew for setting things up for the crab feed. When you put on an event for over 250 people it takes a lot of work. To all of you that helped, your lodge thanks you.
We are getting ready for next year. The budget is the big thing. If you have any ideas on needs for the lodge please leave a suggestion at the office . I can tell you that most of your current officers are willing to continue again next year. It is important to have some stability in this area. These Elks are hard working and willing to step up again. If you have a desire to be a part of this hard working officer core please let us know . The nominations start at the February 13 Meeting. We would love to see some new faces.
I hope to see you all at the next big event which is March 16 "St. Patrick's at the Elks Lodge". The guys that did such a great job last year cooking are back again. I can tell you it was very good food. There will be dancing, so wear those dancing shoes!
We now have a beautiful pool table in the lodge quarters. As of now, it is located in the sun room for all to enjoy. The pool table was donated to the lodge by Dan Christy. Thank You Dan for your contribution .
Keeping it short, that is all I have to say for now.
Fraternally yours,
Mike Patterson
Exalted Ruler
A very big THANK YOU to Mike Anderson, Billy Byrd, Ron Heidinger and Jason Evans for all your hard work at tearing out and redoing the liquor room upstairs.
This will make all the bartenders job much easier and be more convenient for stocking the bar with the much needed liquor.

Sickness and Distress
We have special thoughts for all Elks “under the weather”...get well, you are
important to us:

Elk of the Month
Well once again it’s time for my favorite thing, Elk of the month. This month our Elk of the Month not only donates time for our functions, Like decorating the lodge and etc. She also spends time around the social quarters spreading goodwill with a big smile on her face. She overheard a conversation about the need for some new dishes and silverware to complete are downstairs needs in the kitchen. So with her generous heart she donated a cash contribution to cover those needs. She did this in the name of her late husband Harley. So with great pleasure I announce, Ida Handle as our elk of the month. Thank you so much for your generosity and your constant contributions to your lodge. Great job!
