We’re a network for digital practitioners in local government with an aim to raise standards in web provision and the use of digital by councils across the country, and to create a digital framework that is flexible enough to respond to local needs

@LocalGovDigital@LocalGovDigital

Why it came about...

It came from frustration from myself and Sarah Lay (Nottinghamshire County Council).

A response to the Government Digital Service and GOV.UK. Recognition of the patchy quality in local sector.

Why not make things better together?

Experimenting

• An innovative informal collaborative experiment between two Councils

• Practical sharing of skills, outputs and projects between two digital teams

• We don’t know how it will work but we want to try it out and see what happens.

• What could you experiment on?
