What is the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF)?

• LCFF is California’s new plan to fund schools.

• The state has provided local school districts with funding flexibility rather than directing how each dollar must be spent.

• The expectation is that this flexibility will help the local districts better meet their student needs.
