    NORSK AIR is the national airline o Norway andis known to be one o the best airline coupanies in

    the world. Workers are rarely laid of nor do theyquit, they additionally receive many benets and ahealthy salary. Everyone enjoys the work days dueto the relaxed, comortable environment. However,this act only encourages people to work harder tostay in the company. To capture the idea o joy, yetserious, the logo would have a playul efect whilebeing designed in a concise way.

    COLOR USAGE

    e colors used or the NORSKAIR logo are ordinary yet efective.

    Using the the two colors, blue andred, and the grey shade gives thelogo a more serious efect whilestill incorporating color. I the colorswere too bright, then people willnot take the airline seriously and willbe araid to ride onboard.

    INSPIRATION

    e other image is o the Norwegian ag.e colors o the ag: blue, red, and white,were incorporated into the logo as the maincolors. Also, the blue sword resembles the

    cross in the ag.

    ese images are some o the ideas thatinspired the NORSK AIR logo. Norway isknown to have a ascination with trolls thathave been included in airy tales and stories

    told or centuries. ese trolls were knownto live under bridges and rightened peopledue to their nature and their physique.However, having troll sculptures places allaround Norway adds a playul and morepostive connatation to the trolls.

    e last image is a statue o a NorwegianViking. Vikings were native to the Norwe-gian region. Since this act is true, I added aviking element into the logo by having the

    troll wear a viking helmut.

    e logo or NORSK AIR was reworked multipletimes until the nal product was established. Asshown above, the original logo included manymore details than it ended in. e lines weremuch more shakey and unclear. ere was alsotoo many details in that the viewer could easilyget lost in the image. e nal logo lost all thedots that appeared in the sword and helmut,and the lines appear much smoother and uid.e sword was also ipped to align with the logotype beer.

    For the NORSK AIR website, we had to creat webcons. e webcons had to be 16 pixels at 16 x16. esedimensions are tiny that when enlarged, the image becomes completely blurry and pixelated. e reasonor the small dimensions is because the webcon is only used to help identiy the website in the tabs o thebrowser. Also, the poor enlarged quality means the image is not large and saves memory space or largerapplications to load.
