All Shifts Patrol the Norfolk Area, including not only Norfolk Proper, but also the surrounding area of Lambert and Sanford, Buechel Bank, Bannon Crossing and Brandon Dunes. There was a Burglary and Stolen Auto in the4300 Blk. Norbrook Dr. this week as well as a TFA in the 4200 Blk. Sanford Ave. Patrol the area off of Old Bardstown Rd. by the Buechel Bypass. Finally, there were several incidents of vandalism to vehicles over night around Bronner Circle and Country Acres.
First Platoon A TFA in the 4200 Blk. Sanford occurred during this shift.
Second Platoon A Burglary in the 7700 Blk. Nalan and a Stolen Auto in the 7000 Blk. Wildwood occurred during this shift.
Third Platoon A Burglary in the 4300 Blk. Norbrook occurred during this shift.
Flex Platoon Check for subjects loitering around apartment complexes on Buechel Bypass.
Quality of Life Issues
Vehicles are parking in and around Buechel Park at night (possibly for drug transactions), along with cars illegally parked in Buechel Terrace near the park and blocking the sidewalk in the 200 Blk. of Bonnie Lane.
Traffic Issues
Enforce speed limit on Lambert, Sanford Ave. and Hurstbourne Woods Dr.
Increase patrol in the area of Klondike, Mid Dale, Brinkey, White Hall, Clingstone, and Orchard Manor.
The largest new trend is vandalism (graffiti) in the Brookhaven neighborhood and across Browns Lane in St. Regis Park. The suspect(s) are tagging “REPO” on buildings and vehicles. These offences occurred during the overnight hours from 08/01-08/04.
1st Platoon Other than the issue with graffiti described above, there were several TFAs in the area southeast of Seneca High School on 8/03 and 08/04. These include offences in the 3700 Blk. of Wilmar and Mamaroneck, the 3800 Blk. of Wilmar, Chevy Chase and Downing, and on the 2200 Blk. Crawford.
2nd Platoon A strong arm street Robbery in the 3900 Blk. Taylorsville and Burglaries in the 3700 Blk. Taylorsville and the 3000 Blk. Mid Dale occurred during this shift.
3rd Platoon TFAs on Breckenridge Square and the 2900 Blk. McMahan occurred during this shift.
Flex Platoon Narcotics issues around the Economy Inn and the Brown Suburban.
Quality of Life Issues Look for any parties possibly involved in the graffiti issues in Brookhaven and St. Regis Park.
Traffic Issues
Enforce speed limits on Glen Oak, Crawford, Nepperhan and Summerfield.
