Process:I knew I wanted to create a brochure with some relation to interior design. Istarted trying to work with the idea of doing a brochure about myself and mydesign process with elements from my portfolio. I decided to go in a differentdirection and I wanted to my project on my favorite designers, the Eames. Icreated my brochure to emulate their style which consists of clean lines andcolor. I decided to focus one of their most inuential pieces of furniture and domy text wrap around it because it has such great shape. I thought that it cametogether very nicely. I struggled with the printing process and getting the correctalignments on the printed page.

Process:I began this project by selecting a color scheme and nding inspiration. I founda piece by Charley Harper and I emulated the lines in my design. The designstyle used in the project is Mid-Century Modern and I wanted the viewer of thedesign book to immediately to get an idea what the rest of the book will beabout. I repeated the line motif on the section title pages and repeated the samecolors througout. I also contrasted the script font with a simple sans-serif font.

Process:I created the web page to reect the styling of the logo through the colors andsimplicity. I had a limited knowledge of HTML and CSS coding so this projectwas a learning experience. I learned by testing and changing elements in thecoding and seeing what it did to web page. I was able to match the color ofthe logo to the background using the color picker tool in Photoshop. I wanted tokeep my design very simple since my knowledge is so limited.

Process:I started by deciding what feeling I wanted to convey through each logo design.I wanted to convey three different styles of interior design, so the viewer couldget an idea of what the designer did through the logo. I played with fonts andcombining font styles to get the right effect. I traced my favorite chair, the eggchair, to add to my bottom logo using the pen tool.

Process:For my montage I knew I wanted to something that was architecture related toeducate the viewer on an individual and their work. I rst found a quote by FrankGehry. I then searched for high quality photos to blend together. I want theviewer to see both Frank Gehry and see his work. I add a lter over the entireproject to create a dream-like feeling. I wanted the quote to be felt throughout theproject in the photography and the typography.

Process:I selected one of the photos I had taken this week while completing the previousassignment. I cropped the picture to what I thought was the most interestingsection was and to meet the parameters of the of project. I desaturated thebackground to keep the cactus as a focus point of the photo. I colorized thebranch a richer brown so it wouldnt get lost in the background.

Process:I wanted to create an event ad that was fashion oriented, so I began lookingthrough Elle and Vogue magazines for inspirational images that I could thememy ad around. I found one that worked and based the premise of my ad ona ctional Vintage Accessory Auction to benet a womens shelter in New YorkCity. I wanted the look of my ad to be a juxtaposition of modern lines and thetraditional details of the accessories in the pictures. The title font is an Oldstylemixed with the clean lines of a Sans Serif font. The image is so detailed andcreates a focal point I wanted the rest of the ad to be more minimal.

Process:I started out by blocking together the important information and mixing differentlayout types. I decided to align all of the text to create ow for the eye movingdown the page. I added the black bars to create more emphasis on theimportant information on the event. I used a decorative font at the top that mimicsa chalkboard to create unity in the graduation theme event. I added the barat the bottom to repeat the other bar and highlight the company putting on theevent.
