Question: You just got an SMS alert – Your account has been credited with N200million. You are a bit worried about what it’s about. Then you get another SMS – “you have asked to build a family house for the person who died for you”. The House is one of the projects he was working on before he died. He already laid the foundation. The SMS was sent by the administrator appointed to manage the Estate of the one who died for you. What are the things you would like to know before you start building.

Is there a plan? A template? An architectural design, or a prototype? What did he have in mind to build?“And see to it that you make them according to the pattern which was shown you on the mountain” – Ex 25:40“Therefore thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, A tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; Whoever believes will not act hastily”. – Is 28:16

What does a cornerstone mean? What can we learn from the cornerstone?

• The cornerstone (or foundation stone) concept is derived from the first stone set in the construction of a masonry foundation, important since all other stones will be set in reference to this stone, thus determining the position of the entire structure.

Is there a pattern for our life’s purpose? Is there an architectural plan or cornerstone already? Or do we need to invent one?

To live on purpose, we need to understand the type, the prototype, the earnest and the finished product (antitype)
