We as a class walked around the school to see

if we could find some living and nonliving

things. This is what we found.

A plant is a living thing.

We learned that not EVERYTHING in the butterfly garden is a living thing.

We did see a butterfly in the garden and decided it was a living thing because it

needed food and water to live.
