THE LOCATION OF LIVBERZE SECONDARY SCHOOL IS JELGAVA

REGION

The school’s advantage is its geographical location: 15km from Jelgava – the center of the region, and

60km from the capital of Latvia – Riga.

There are 25 pedagogues

5 pre-school playgroup teachers

8 technical workers

and there are 276 pupils at Livberze secondary school:

44 – at pre-school groups

88 – at primary school /first school/

113 – at elementary school

31 – at high school.

THE INSIGHT IN THE HISTORY OF

LIVBERZE SECONDARY SCHOOL year 1870 – the very foundation of Livberze school

year 1948 – studies are to begin in the Latvian and Russian languages

year 1997 – the integration process begins

year 2000 - study process is continued in the Latvian language

- co-operation within the project “The Opened School” organized by SOROS FOND -

LATVIA

year 2001 - Livberze High School is formed

- 4 languages are acquired

- auto-driving training courses are set up

- lifelong education courses for parents organized by the help of Netherlands embassy

program MATRA/KAP

OUR FUTURE is our youth.

It is important that our students become wise masters in their school and self-dependant people in

their life.
