MORNING MASS
Scripture:Acts 10: 34. 37 – 43.
Psalm 117,
R/. Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!Give thanks to the Lord for he is good, for his love has no end.Let the sons of Israel say;‘His love has no end.’
The Lord's right hand has triumphed;his right hand has raised me up.I shall not die, I shall liveand recount his deeds.
The stone which the builders rejectedhas become the corner stone. This is the work of the Lord,a marvel in our eyes.
Colossians John 20: 1 – 9.
How often have you heard me say at a Requiem Mass “We are an Easter People,” people full of light, hope and joy. We no longer sit in darkness but share the New Light of the Risen Lord.
Let us listen to the voice of Mary who came from the tomb after looking among the dead for her Lord and Master “Mary, He has Risen, He is Alive”
Mary of Magdala gave that message to the Apostles and today she gives us the same message
HE HAS RISEN, HE IS ALIVE
May I along with Joseph, Dermot and Robert, our Student, wish you all a Holy and Happy Easter
Canon Michael Evans

EASTER 2017
For the last 40 days we have been a penitential people. We have journeyed towards Good Friday, undertaking prayer, fasting, and alms giving. Conscious of our need to rely on God’s mercy. But, that is not the end, Good Friday leads to the joy of Easter. We rejoice at Easter precisely because we have gone through Good Friday, we acknowledge that in our own lives we have our own good Fridays, but we also know that this is not the end, because we have Hope, and we also know that we will have our own Easter Sunday. So, rejoice
Happy Easter.Robert James (Seminarian)
