Having a baby is expensive but parents are still passionate and want the best value for a better nutrition for their child despite their financial status.

+ Solution/Approach

A affordable convenient healthy alternative made from local farm ingredients. A variety of combination of vegetables, fruits and meats both organic and not with recipes so the parents know exactly what their child is eating.

Packaging concept: Fun, Playful and informative

A holder for the hot food for feeding.

Vacuum seal for convenience in reconstituting frozen food.

Toy for a child's entertainment after its use; as a puppet.

Information in regards to food like a fun fact.

Parents with babies from 6 months to 18 months. Busy young parents concerned about what their children eat and are looking for different alternatives. Hard working people who just want a different option to dissatisfying processed foods and expensive organic food. People with busy lifestyles who want food that is convenient and quick while also looking for new food and flavors to try for themselves.

 STAGE ONE – The usual suspects (Single Ingredient puree)

  4-6+ Months. Highly pureed thin and steamed then strained. Lowest allergy scale ingredient.

  Apples, Avocados, Apricots

  Other Possibilities:

  Sweet Fruit Buds: Bananas, Mango, Peach, Nectarines, Papaya, Pears, Plums, Prunes or Pumpkin

  Healthy Vegetable Buds: Green Beans, Carrots, Peas, Sweet Potatoes, Butternut Squash

 STAGE TWO – Menu Favorites (mixed puree ingredients)

  7+ Months. Pureed with a little bit of texture from combinations. Low allergy scale ingredient.

  Mini Pasta, Cauliflower Corn, Potato Spinach

 STAGE THREE – Growing up

  9+ Months. (Thick Texture Exploration) Softly mashed and chopped. Introduction to meats, pasta and other dairy (yogurt and cheese). Lowest allergy scale ingredient but more fibrous and more acidic while containing high amount of protein.

  Bud Facts: Nutritional Health Benefits – Tonality is aimed to be friendly to parents as if the brand was talking directly at them as a friend or neighbor.

  Recipes – Gain trust from the parents in the brand. What the make at home with the recipe would look and taste exactly the same.

  Instructions – The package is designed to hold the meal for feeding and convenient to reheat the vacuum sealed package.

  Local farm and farmers market Information promotes fresh farmed food despite it being organic or not organic.

  Entertainment – when opening and closing the package provides a playful and fun aspect for the child’s entertainment.
