Fig. S5 (a) CV curves of as-prepared samples at 200 mV s-1, (b) GCD curve of Ni foam, (c) CV curve of Ni foam at 5 mV s-1, (d) CV curves of as-prepared samples and Ni foam at 5 mV s-1, (e) CV curves of as-prepared samples and Ni foam at 200 mV s-1.
In order to confirm the capacitance contributed from the Ni foam, the
electrochemical characterization of Ni foam was carried out at the same current of
NMC-2 and the same scan rate. The charge-discharge tests of Ni foam are
implemented at current of 0.00375 A (Fig. S5b), which is same as the current of
NMC-2 at 0.5 A g-1. The specific capacitance is only 0.5 F g-1. In addition, the
comparisons of CV curves in the presence/absence active materials at the same
scanning rate are presented in Fig. S5d and e. Therefore, the capacitance contributed
from the Ni foam is very little can be neglectful.
