Lithia Ridge HOA Playground Safety Initiative

BACKGROUND• In 2008 There were injuries on the playground

that required medical attention.• In 2009 the Lithia Ridge HOA Board decided

initiate a safety audit. • Safety audit brought to light major deficiencies in

safety surfacing, swings, and placement of the playground equipment.

• Since receipt of the audit the HOA Board has worked to come up with workable solutions to come in compliance with the recommendations and requirements.
