+What is literature Science and Art as two sides where one deals with

truth, the other one with beauty.

An artist bring different things together and creates a new truth.

Beethoven in his ninth symphony uses chorus that is singing about starry heavens and was accompanied with comic march on bassoons and piccolo

Similarly, several similar or different ideas converge to give birth to a new theme where metaphors, similes, ironies and humors are born.

This exercise of fusion is a kind of artistic expression where it connects with emotion.

+Artistic Methods

Artistic methods are dictated by the sort of material used for the production of art.

Spatial methods for painting, sculpture and clay

Temporal methods for music, dance, stage performances and Literature (words)

Denotation- a meaning that a words bears in the dictionary

Connotation- a meaning that is gained due to associations with constant practical use in certain references.

Poetry was thus developed through such exploitation of words that conferred certain qualities namely-Epic, Dramatic and Lyric.

English, here doesn’t indicate a geography of an European country but a Language

Literature composed in English is by writers not necessarily from England; for example, Robert Burns was Scottish, James Joyce was Irish, Joseph Conrad was born in Ukraine, Dylan Thomas was Welsh, Edgar Allan Poe was American, V.S. Naipaul was born in Trinidad, and Vladimir Nabokov was Russian, but all are considered important writers in the history of English literature.
