Point-of-view the way stories, movies, plays etc… are told.

1st person uses word like I, me, my, mine

2nd person uses word like you, your, we, us

3rd person uses word like they, she, he, him

Affixes-make new word by adding on to the word (suffixes and prefixes)

• Prefixes – any thing added on to the beginning of base to give new meaning.

• Suffix – any thing added on to the ending of a base to give new meaning.

Homophone/Homographs/Homonyms-words that have different meanings but sound the same. Sometimes they are spelled the same sometimes they are not spelled the same
