The $2.2m state-of-the-art Philips Elition X 3T MRI brings innovative technology to the region, providing the opportunity for 50 per cent faster scan times at 60 per cent greater resolution than the current MRI. A 350 tonne crane was used to lift the MRI up to Level 5 of North Tower, with a team of specialists from Core Sensitive Freight working in unison to carefully move the machine from the opening in the side of the building into position on Level 5. $2.2m MRI machine lifted into place The MRI is carefully lifted up to the gap in the building. A hand-operated pulley system gently brings the MRI into the building. The team carefully transition from the crane platform. Precision positioning as the MRI moves through the door.

Planning, patience, and precision were the key
