Blue trap: A number of important pest insects areattracted to a range of specific colour Wave lengths. These colours present stimuli to the insect whichmay elicit a number of responses ranging from hostplant recognition to ovipositional attractant, sexualstimuli etc. for certain species of thrips and leafminers.

Yellow sticky Traps: Small flying insect pests areattracted by the unique yellow color and stick to thenon-drying glue coating the trap. Yellow sticky trapsare a non toxic way to control and monitor –whiteflies, aphids, Cabbage white butterfly, fruitflies, thrips, cucumber beetles, leafhoppers etc.
