Introduction

Caltest Instruments are technical distributors specialising in power products and precision measurement

equipment. Caltest was established in 1992 as a distributor of meter test equipment for the electricity industry.

Over the last two decades the business had grown significantly and Caltest now provides a broad range of

products and services to many UK industries.

In 2009 Caltest Instruments was acquired by the PPST Group (owners of Pacific Power Source, Adaptive Power

Systems and STS Instruments). The acquisition has allowed the business to grow and offer facilities and services

that are unique to test and measurement distribution including a UKAS calibration laboratory, in-house service

centre, a large pool of rental equipment and our state of the art demonstration and training facility.

Equipment Sales and Technical Support

Caltest are UK distributors for many industry leading companies which are detailed overleaf. We have a highly

experienced team based both at our offices in Guildford and in the field to provide sales and technical support

that is second to none.

Equipment Rentals and Leasing

Caltest hold a wide range of rental equipment available on flexible rental periods from as little as a week to

longer terms of over a year. For customers that are renting equipment with a view to purchasing later on we

offer a rental offset scheme where part of the cost of renting equipment can be offset against the purchase cost

of new equipment.

We also offer lease and hire purchase agreements* on all equipment that we sell to help spread the cost of

capital equipment over a longer period.

Service and UKAS Calibration

We are committed to providing our customers with exceptional support and we aim

to support every product that we supply directly with our in-house service and

UKAS calibration team. In cases where it is not possible for us to provide support

directly we work closely with the OEM, or a carefully selected local service provider.

Our ultimate aim being to provide you with the best possible technical, warranty

and ongoing service support.

Our service and calibration team can provide field based service and calibration

where required. We also offer service and calibration contracts which can include a

collection and delivery service.
