BLUE MAX S308/308L AWS: ER308, ER308L Stainless Steel Submerged Arc Wire
Designed primarily for submerged arcwelding with basic fluxes. Balancedchromium and nickel levels to provideenough ferrite in the weld metal forhigh resistance to hot cracking.
ADVANTAGE LINCOLN Designed primarily for submerged
arc welding with basic fluxes thatrecover nearly all of the wireschromium in the weld deposit.
Along with Blue Max 2000 flux,several Lincolnweld fluxes can beused; 801, 802, 880, 880M, 882and ST-100.
Lincolnweld ST-100 flux adds minoramounts of chromium.
DC+ is the preferred polarity. Insome cladding operations DC- maybe preferred.
Manufactured under a qualitysystem certified to ISO 9001requirements.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS For joining the more common
austenitic stainless steel gradesreferred to as 18-8 steels.
ASTM A240 Types 302, 304. 304L.

Manufactured under a qualitysystem certified to ISO 9001requirements.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS For joining carbon or low alloy steel
to austenitic stainless steels.
Can also be used on 18-8 steels, since it overmatches the corrosion
