By definition of  g  g(2) = 3 g(x)=x2 -4/(x-2)

limx → 2 g(x) = limx → 2 (x2 - 4)/(x - 2) =limx → 2 ( x- 2)(x + 2)/(x-2)

Now putting the limiting value = limx → 2 (x + 2) = 4

g(x) is discontinuous because  limx → 2 g(x) ≠ g(2)
