Sherree Va lentine-Daines is one of the contemporar y ar t world ’s most
dist ing uished f ig ures. She has been described as ‘the face of modern Brit ish
impressionism’ and ‘the f inest f ig urat ive ar t ist we have here in the U K’ (A r t
of England); she has won a mu lt itude of high prof i le awards and she has been
of f icia l ly voted the U K’s leading Modern Impressionist .
Sheree’s painterly scenes of high societ y are inspired by such tradit iona l events
as Roya l A scot, the Hen ley Regatta and the Roya l Windsor Horse Show. In
2016 she received the u lt imate societ y commission when the Roya l Household
inv ited her to paint their 90th bir thday g i f t for Her Majest y the Queen. But
a longside her feted posit ion as our leading societ y ar t ist , Sherree is a lso a
warm and inspirat iona l indiv idua l , and her sun l it ar t work ref lects the things
she loves and bel ieves in, which includes the constant beaut y and charm of the
Brit ish coast l ine, and of course, the mag ic of chi ld hood. Her work is included in
numerous impor tant private col lect ions including other members of the Brit ish
Roya l Fami ly and former Prime M inister Sir John Major. Many famous names
