Sportscraft was awarded The Australian Wool Board’s first ‘Pure New Wool’ license in 1964, the beginning of a

longstanding partnership with Woolmark, the world’s leading fiber brand.

The Iconic Knit has been made in 100% Australian Merino Wool to celebrate the partnership. The rich shade of coral speaks to Sportscraft’s inherent love of colour. The modern oversized shape has a slightly boxy fit with slim sleeves, and

the knittned cables create a textured, raw feel.

Sportscraft founder, Woolf Bardas, brought with him to Australia the first patent for the reversible pleated skirt in 1914, which has gone on to become one of Sportscraft’s

most iconic pieces.

The interpretation of this iconic design takes inspiration directly from the Sportscraft archives. This skirt is pleated in such a way that with movement there is a flash of white

between the navy stripes. It’s incredibly modern and flattering at the same time.

Since 2006, Sportscraft has collaborated with Liberty London to bring a touch of cutting edge creativity to their collection. To celebrate 100 years of Australian Lifestyle,

Liberty London has designed a bespoke Australian botanical design exclusively for Sportscraft.

Simply called ‘Australian Flowers’ Liberty’s design team researched rare and also well-known Australian fauna for

the inspiration behind this print. This shirt comes in a 100% silk crepe de chine, and has been updated with a

French cuff and perfectly tailored fit.
