In an increasingly globalized, numbers-driven market, there’s a higher demand than ever for employees who bring a graduate level business education.With an exclusive focus on the business of fashion, LIM College is helping to meet this demand with three fashion-centric business programs: the Master of Business Administration (MBA), the Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Fashion Merchandising and Retail Management, and the Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Fashion Marketing.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA), with concentrations in Fashion Management and Entrepreneurship, is for current or aspiring fashion professionals who want to learn concepts and theories of management, leadership, and entrepreneurship within the context of the fashion business.

The Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Fashion Merchandising and Retail Management and the Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Fashion Marketing are for individuals who seek a graduate program with an emphasis on career development in order to make a transition into, or advance within, the fashion industry.

AN MBA LIKE NO OTHERThe LIM College MBA is a unique Master of Business Administration program focused on the business of fashion. If you already work in the fashion industry, the highly fl exible LIM College MBA is an ideal next step, offering you the opportunity to leverage your experience and pursue your career at a higher level. This program will suit you equally well if you’re seeking a career change, or if you’re a fashion entrepreneur who wants to launch your business with a greater sense of confi dence.

A FOCUSED CURRICULUMAt LIM College, you’ll study the principles and practice of business, but within the context of the fashion industry. As an MBA student, you’ll take foundation courses in business administration that you’ll fi nd in any other accredited MBA program—such as accounting, statistics, economics, marketing and sales management, and more. But, unlike other MBA programs, you’ll then move to electives focused on the fashion industry, as our MBA program offers two concentrations—in Fashion Manage-ment and Entrepreneurship.

A REAL-WORLD PROGRAMThe MPS program was developed specifi cally with the industry’s evolving needs in mind. In the MPS program, you’ll receive practical and theoretical knowledge of fashion merchandising and retail management—focusing on merchandising, sales and consumer behavior, retailing (both store operations and leadership), and product management. You’ll acquire the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to make business decisions in the fashion industry, applying theoretical knowledge to solve realworld problems.

AN INDUSTRY FOCUSFashion marketing is vital to the success of any fashion brand as it serves to connect the brand to the buyer and/or consumer. KEVIN BROTZ: Practiced law for 23 years and was the Human Resources Manager/Senior Store Executive for Bloomingdale’s.

MICHAEL LONDRIGAN: Nearly 30 years of experience in the apparel industry focusing on retail, wholesale, and textiles. He previously held the position of Managing Director of U.S. Marketing for Cotton Incorporated.

DAVID FRESCHMAN: Co-founder and Chairman of FashInvest, the fi rst initiative linking entrepreneurs in fashion to venture capitalists and fi nanciers.

COMPLETION TIME: Full time: 15 months Part-time: 27 months.

MASTER OF PROFESSIONAL STUDIES (MPS)

IDEAL FOR: Individuals wanting to transition into the fashion industry.

CAREER GOAL: Launch a career in the fashion business in the areas of fashion merchandising, retailing, or marketing.
