Do I need any special

equipment? You WILL NOT need any

special equipment for most projects beyond a video camera or digital camera.

EXCEPTION—

** Depending on the equipment at your school you may need a firewire cable and adaptor. *See your ITRT for specifics.

The Dreaded RED X All files used in MovieMaker

project must be saved in the same folder. (for example, video/music clips and pictures)

MovieMaker does not import files, it creates a reference to the location of the file.

What type of projects can I produce?

Save to the computer Post projects to web Create a CD Send as an e-mail attachment Create a DVD (This requires

manually saving file as a dv-avi file and might require additional software, such as Roxio DVD maker.)

**The computer default settings will automatically save projects according to file size needed. You may also change file size to manually for specific needs.
