We are serious in this business, and looking forward to more new concepts such as the Future Zone.

Vinod, Senior Manager LED Lighting & Solar PV Solution, LG Electronics

The great thing about the Future Zone is that it gives you the latest in the new world of lighting. The conference as well has a lot of designers and industry experts, which is so nice for socialising. We had good support from the organiser which made Light Middle East a perfect place to exhibit at.

    Giuoliang Cai, Technical Designer, iGuzzini

The quality of the visitors which is what we are looking for is so high and we have had very positive responses from our participation. A wide variety of sales managers, managers, serious people who know about LED, it was a great opportunity to build our partnerships here.

Rishi Kohli, Group Executive Director, LEME

This is our first time exhibiting at Light Middle East and we are fully satisfied about the quality of visitors. We have had the chance to meet all contacts in the Gulf Area which is very important for us. The presence here in Dubai is a bridge to the Arabic region and Iran which is our target. Eng. Paolo Manenti, Export Area Manager, ave Italian Design

Being the most significant trade event for the regional industry, Light Middle East brings together all the major players from the regional trade. This provides us with a great arena to spread our message region-wide.

Tarek Zakaria, Head KNX Building Automation UAE / Southern Gulf

ERCO is excited to be part of the first-ever Light Middle East awards. It is a perfect opportunity for designers and consultants to not only showcase their lighting designs but also to be celebrated for the amazing contributions they have made to projects within the region. The awards also provide us with the opportunity to offer our support to the Middle East design community and we look forward to a continued involvement with them on their future projects.

Murray Cameron, Regional Manager Middle East for ERCO Lighting Pte. Ltd

    Companies that showcased the future:

Future Zone at Light Middle East

Light Middle East launched Future Zone at the 2013 show with global brands like ERCO, iGuzzini, Linea Light, ACDC, Osram, Trilux, LG and GE Lighting showcasing their futuristic products to highlight their innovations, trends, concepts and technical specifications on how to achieve the efficiency in projects.

This was a great learning platform which allowed the industry professionals to witness the future of the lighting industry.

This is our second time here. We are a regular at Light Frankfurt and we are happy to be here in Dubai as well. We have met our expectations, visitors numbers are high and it has been a fruitful experience for us. There are new leads and new contacts from all over the world not only Dubai and the GCC.

Zsolt Tramontini, Commercial Operations Leader Middle East, Africa & Turkey, GE Lighting

Light Middle East is one of the significant regional platforms for GE Lighting to showcase our diverse array of lighting solutions with a particular focus on sustainability, in line with the regions current focus on promoting energy efficiencies in lighting.

George Bou Mitri, General Manager of Middle East, Africa and Turkey, GE Lighting

Emirates Green Building Council has been working with partners across the lighting industry to highlight the need to introduce energy efficient light both in new buildings and for retrofitting. We will continue to support events such as Light Middle East, which bring together different stakeholders in the lighting sector, and promote stronger awareness of the need to introduce energy-efficient lighting.

Adnan Sharafi, Chairman, Emirates Green Building Council

Light Middle East is the leading trade fair for the lighting industry in the region and is regarded as a dependable indicator of the developments and trends that are currently shaping the industry globally.

Osama Swalmy, Sales Manager, Home Automation Division, Al Mazroui

There has been no such platform in the region for recognising excellent work in lighting design. The Light Middle East awards will fill this void and award outstanding projects from across the region. This will be a great way to encourage further innovation and forward thinking in lighting design and will also serve to make case studies on regional best practices available in the market.

Ahmed Abdulla Alsalami, Head of Building Systems Development Unit, Qualification & Building Studies Section, Building Department, Dubai Municipality

  • Light Middle East AwardsLight Middle East, with the support of Society of Engineers, hosted the first-ever Light Middle East Awards celebrating excellence in the field of lighting design in the region.
