WHAT SUBSTANCE PROVIDES THE FUEL FOR MOST FOOD CHAINS?

The sun because it feeds the plants which starts the food chain. Say a seed was planted and the sun helped it grow into a plant, Then a grasshopper would eat the plant then it keeps going on and on. With out the sun that food chain would never have happened.

WHY DO SOME PLANTS DEPEND ON ANIMALS FOR SURVIVAL?

When a seed is unplanted sometimes they need a animal to plant them. For Example, a sunflower seed was blown away by the wind, but then a bird could come and pick it up and drop it in the

dirt.
