ANCIENT HISTORY Years ago before the West had been settled, a group of people lived in the rain-shadow of the majestic Two Guides Peaks, Longs and Meeker. These people revered this setting in the Great Plains for its abundant quality of life.
MODERN HISTORY During the early 1950s Bob Everitt opened a small lumberyard on North College Avenue in Fort Collins. Realizing lumber sales were driven by people being able to build homes, Bob expanded into the development business. His first neighborhood, Indian Hills, was named partially in tribute to the people who once roamed the land and left their mark on the front-range landscape. Today this community is still thriving, and has become a timeless classic in the city.
