In una lettera a Lord Elgin, Canova parla dei marmi del Partenone e afferma perentorio :“ I nudi sono vera e bellissima carne”. In un'altra lettera ribadisce il valore evocativo della parola “carne” per designare la grande scultura : “Le opere di Fidia sono vera carne come lo sono le altre esimie sculture antiche. “ Partendo da queste citazioni tratte dagli “Scritti di Antonio Canova” (2007), scrivi un testo di massimo 20 righe in cui:- illustri il rapporto fra scultura antica e arte neoclassica;- colleghi le opere di Canova ( almeno 2 esempi) alla sua origine e formazione veneta;- rifletti sulle conseguenze delle innovazioni del suo metodo di lavoro.
SIMULAZIONE DELLA 3 PROVA A. S. 2015/16 STORIA DELL’ARTE
“ Marcel Duchamp nel 1918 a New York prende in mano per l’ultima volta i pennelli. Allunga sulla tela la totalità della gamma cromatica e la intitola con linguaggio castigato “Tu mi infastidisci” [Tu m’ , 1918], scrive questo e chiude definitivamente con la pittura. “(dalla intervista del regista J. Antoine all’artista M. Duchamp del 1966)
In massimo 20 righe illustra questa affermazione contestualizzandola nell’ambito della vita artistica del primo ‘900; commentala nel percorso creativo di Duchamp e nel quadro della reazione delle avanguardie alla pittura tradizionale.
