5 & 19 DEC @ 1800 - VIDEO GAME NIGHT: Nintendo WiiU, Play Station 3, and X-BOX 360 systems are ready to play! Pair that with our newest games and we have a recipe for good times. Chips & Dips will be served while supplies last.

13 & 27 DEC @ 1800 – MOVIE NIGHT: Take a load off after a long week and relax with a flick that you pick; movie choices will be put on our Facebook page for you to vote. FREE Mokuteki pizza, soft drinks, and water will be served.

11 DEC @ 1800 – DINING OUT @ AKA NOREN (BARAYAKI): A dinner for all to enjoy some time away from base, try some new foods, make some new friends, and take a chance to practice some Japanese phrases. Liberty will supply the “ride and the guide”. Please bring yen for your meal. Depart the Liberty Center @ 1800! ® ¥

16 DEC @ 1900 – BURGERS ‘N BOWLING: Meet the Liberty Staff at the Walmsley Bowling Center for a FREE combo meal, soft drink and two games of bowling. Pros and underdogs are always welcome. Reserve your space by email and don’t forget to invite a shipmate from the squadrons. ®

7 DEC @ 1800 – INJUSTICE: GODS AMONG US TOURN : This will be a single-player, double-elimination tournament on the PS3 and Liberty will serve some light refreshments. Bragging rights will be awarded.

14 DEC @ 0800 – KAKUNODATE SAMURAI VILLAGE: Kakunodate was a town developed beneath a castle where old houses and former historic samurai residences still remain on the streets. Houses/residences have little changed in more than 380 years, as if frozen in time. Speaking of freezing, dress warm because we will be walking outdoors all afternoon. Most of the samurai residences that remain have been designated as Cultural Properties by public agencies. $55 ® ¥Registration Deadline: 12 DEC25 DEC @ 0900-1200 – LIBERTY CHRISTMAS BREAKFAST: Leggo my Eggo or other breakfast treats! Liberty will be serving up toaster-friendly breakfast foods with all the toppings. Christmas movies will be playing and we will draw our winners from the “Participate for Presents”.

31 DEC @ 2230 – NEW YEARS KUSHIHIKI HACHIMANGU SHRINE: This shrine is believed to have been founded by Nanbu Mitsuyuki, the first lord of the Nanbu family who was granted the province of Nukanobu to rule as his fief in the Kamakura period, and is worshiped as the major guardian shrine of the Nanbu family. A number of important national cultural properties and prefectural treasures, including the Red-Thread-Embroidered Armor and the White-Thread-Embroidered Armor are kept here. Jump in line with everyone else to say the first prayer of the New Year! $10 ® ¥
