Max. energy saving withMPS Inverter controlLG MPS (Multi Power System) inverteris an energy saving air-conditioningsystem which uses either one or twohighly efficient constant speedcompressors and a DC invertercompressor.

What is LG MPS Inverter System?

LG MPS InverterMPS is a power saving system withdual compressors of differentcapacity (60% & 40%). Variable loadmatching is achieved with constantspeed & inverter controlcompressors. Fast pull down & warmup is achieved through MPS and withpower reduction as roomtemperature is reached.

Conventional(On/Off Operation)During a conventional air conditioningcycle, the compressor must constantlyturn on and off in order to maintain thedesired temperature setting. A largeamount of power is used during therestart resulting in unnecessary energyconsumption.

Once the desired temperature isachieved, unlike conventional airconditioners that turn the compressoron and off, LG inverter units constantlyadjust and vary the compressor speedto maintain the desired temperaturewith minimal fluctuation to ensure thatyour comfort is not compromised.

Energy saving with MPS inverter controlMPS Inverter system operates onecycle with two compressors. When theload is small, only one compressorcompletes the cycle at low operation asexplained in the diagram below. Thisresults in reduced energy consumptionas compared to a conventional invertersystem that uses only one large invertercompressor.

Low noise & Vibratione–Scroll CompressorLG MPS consists of two or morecompressors to perform at its bestdepending on cooling load. When required, only one compressorwill operate resulting in less vibrationand noise.
