Lev 15 to 19

Lev 1513 And when he that hath an issue is cleansed of his issue; then he shall number to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean. Leviticus 15:13 Notice how it was recorded over fourteen hunderd years before Christ that “running water” is more sanitary than mere bathing. “Science” didn’t catch up with this truth until after the Dark Ages.

Lev 1617 And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goeth in to make an atonement in the holy place, until he come out, and have made an atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel. Leviticus 16:17 The high priest had to enter the tabernacle alone and then make the blood atonement in the holy of holies, picturing the fact that Christ alone can atone for our sins (Heb. 9:7; 1:3).

Heb 9:7 But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people: Heb 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Lev 1627 And the bullock for the sin offering, and the goat for the sin offering, whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the holy place, shall one carry forth without the camp; and they shall burn in the fire their skins, and their flesh, and their dung. Leviticus 16:27 The expression “without the camp” reminds us of the sufferings of Christ. Hebrews 13:11-13.

Heb 13:11-13 11 For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp. 12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the

Lev 177 And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations. Lev 17:7 The Hebrews had engaged in devil worship in times past and other passages give us to understand they would do so again (Ezekiel 20:5-9; 23:9, Joshua 24:14).

Ezek 23:37 That they have committed adultery, and blood is in their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and have also caused their sons, whom they bare unto me, to pass for them through the fire, to devour them.

Lev 1822 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. Leviticus 18:22 Sodomy isn’t an “alternate” or “gay” lifestyle. It is an abomination.

Prov 19:18 Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying. Prov 20:30 The blueness of a wound cleanseth away evil: so do stripes the inward parts of the belly. Prov 22:15 Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him. Prov 23:13-14 13 Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die. 14 Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell.

Prov 29:15 The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame. Prov 29:17 Correct thy son, and he shall give thee rest; yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul. Prov 30:17 The eye that mocketh at his father, and despiseth to obey his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it. Matt 15:4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. 11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

The Bible makes it clear that if a man will learn to fear his earthly father, he will learn to fear God when God shows up with the chastening rod (Pr 9:10, 10:27, 13:24)

Prov 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. Prov 10:27 The fear of the LORD prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened. Prov 13:24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

Lev 1911 Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.

• An abomination to God Prov 12:22 Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.

• A hindrance to prayer Isa 59:2-3 2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. 3 For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.

• The devil, the father of John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

• Folly of concealing hatred by Prov 10:18 He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool.

• Vanity of getting riches by Prov 21:6 The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity tossed to and fro of them that seek death.

Ps 119:163 I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love. Prov 13:5 A righteous man hateth lying: but a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame.

- Avoid Isa 63:8 For he said, Surely they are my people, children that will not lie: so he was their Saviour. Zeph 3:13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.

This is a tattoo that I have had for about six years. In December I noticed some changes in it and decided to have it looked at. Biopsy came back as a type of skin cancer. The red pigment in the tattoo called cinnabar attacked my immune system so I have to have it removed either in a series of three surgeries or one time removal with a skin graft. My point for this is make sure if you get a tattoo that you think of all of the things that can go wrong and how your body could be potentially disfigured from it. Please be aware
