Regular attendance of a minimum for 20 hours per week is a requirement for allstudents.Alloverseasstudentsmustattendaminimumof80%atalltimesduring their study periods. Students must also maintain satisfactory academic progress at all times.
AllInternationalStudentsarerequiredtopayOverseasStudentHealthCover(OSHC)andmaintaincoverforthefulllengthoftheirvisa.Itisalsothestudent’sresponsibilitytochecktheconditionsofthishealthcover.
A non refundable Enrolment/Application fee of $200.00 and $50.00 CoE issue fee(exclusiveofTuitionfeesandmaterialfees)arerequiredatthetimeofenrolment and this guarantees your place in the course. Students who fall behind in the payment of their fees or fail to pay their tuition fee on the due date, may be charged a late payment fee of $120.00 per term or may be refusedtrainingandassessmentservicesandanyrequestsuntilsuchtimesasthe fees are paid and up-to-date. Please note that students will be required to maintain academic course progress in consultation with the Academic Manager. ShouldfeesremainoverdueformorethanonedayaftertheduedateVictoryInstitute will inform the student of their intention to report them for non-paymentoffeestoSecretaryofDEEWRviaPRISMS
To request a refund student must complete the Refund Application Form and submit it to Financial Department either by email to the address on the form or inpersonwherearefundisapproved,VictoryInstitutewillmakepaymentofrefunds within 28 days of receipt of Refund Application Form. No refunds will be paid to a third party unless it is indicated at the time the Refund Application Form is lodged that any refunds due are payable to a third party

* A request for refund must be made in writing and the decision record from DIBPmustbereceivedbytheInstitutewithin90daysofthedecisionbeing made from DIBP. Tuition fee is not refundable for non-genuine information case.(Thisrefunddoesnotapplytovisarenewalrefusaloravisahasbeen cancelledduetoabreachofthestudentvisacondition.)

● UndertheTuitionProtectionService(TPS)framework,ifVictoryInstituteis unabletofulfillitsobligationstocompleteacourse.ThenewTPSframework willfacilitatestheplacementofstudentsinthefirstinstance,andwherethis isnotpossible,providesarefundofunexpendedtuitionfees(i.e.tuitionthe studenthaspaidforbuthasnotbeendeliveredbytheprovider).Thisreplaced thepreviouscombinationofTuitionAssuranceSchemesandtheESOS Assurance Fund.● VictoryInstitutedefaultsifthecoursetheyofferdoesnotstartontheagreed starting day.● VictoryInstitutedefaultsifthecoursestopsbeingprovidedafteritstartsand beforeitiscompletedorthecourseisnotprovidedfullytothestudent becausetheregisteredproviderhashadasanctionimposed.● IfVictoryInstitutedefaults,Institutewillrefundtothestudentwithin14days after the default day and receipt of your Refund Application Form.●VictoryInstitutewillgivethestudentastatementthatexplainshowtherefund amount has been worked out.● VictoryInstitutedisputeresolutionprocessesdonotcircumscribethe student’s right to pursue other legal remedies.● Thisagreementandtheavailabilityofcomplaintsandappealsprocesses,does notremovetherightofthestudenttotakeactionunder Australia’s consumer protection laws.● Therefundpolicyissubjecttoreviewfromtimetotime.● TheInstituterecommendsthatyoureadtheESOSFrameworkInformation, whichprovideslegislativeprotectionforInternationalstudents,available at www.internationaleducation.gov.au/regulatory-information/pages/ regulatoryinformation.aspx
Tuition fees will not be refunded under the following circumstances:• WhenastudentenrolmentisterminatedforfailuretocomplywithVictory Institute’s policies and procedures.• Whenastudentenrolmentisterminatedforfailuretocomplywiththe requirementsoftheirstudentvisabyDIBP.• Astudentdoesnotcommence(i.e.,doesnotarriveorhasnotarrangedwith us for a later start date because of health or compassionate reasons)•Astudentterminatesacourseduringstudyperiod.

Ifyouhaveaproblemorcomplaint,youshouldtalktoyourtrainerorStudentSupportOfficer.Ifthemattercannotberesolvedinformally,youmaylodgeaformalcomplaintbycompletingaformalComplaintsForm(availablefromreception and on our website).• Youthenwillhaveanopportunitytoformallypresentyourcaseatnocost. Youmaybeaccompaniedandassistedbyasupportpersonatanyrelevant meetings.• Theprocesscommenceswithin10workingdaysoftheformallodgementof your complaint and supporting information and all reasonable measures are takentofinalisetheprocessassoonaspracticable.• Youwillbegivenawrittenstatementoftheoutcomeincludingdetailsofthe reasons for the outcome.• Ifyouarenotsatisfiedwiththeoutcomeintermsofnothavinghadthe opportunity to present your case properly•theprocessnotbeingcarriedoutinaccordancewithVictoryInstitute’spolicies and procedures or•thedecisionbeingmadecontrarytotheevidenceprovidedYouwillhave7 working days to appeal the decision.

AllpeopleassociatedwithVictoryInstitutehavethesamerights.Harassment,bullyingandvictimisationwillnotbetoleratedatVictoryInstitute.Discriminationonanygroundsisunacceptable.StudentswhofeelthattheyarebeingsexuallyharassedorarethevictimsofanysortofracismshouldinitiallycontacttheStudentWelfareOfficer.Ifthecomplaintissufficientlyserious,thePrincipalmayestablishaformalinquiryand/orrefertoexternalauthorities.
UponarrivinginAustraliayouarerequiredtoadviseusofyourresidentialandemail address, telephone number and of any subsequent changes to these contact details. It is your responsibility to ensure that you always update your contactdetailsattheInstitutetoensureyoureceiveimportantinformationaboutyourcourse,feesreceiptsandanyotherimportantinformationatleastevery6months.

• IfyouarenotsatisfiedwiththeresultorconductofVictoryInstitute’s complaintshandlingandappealsprocesses,youhavetherighttoaccessthe externalappealsprocessatminimalornocost.• Duringthecomplaintsandappealsprocess,VictoryInstitutewillensureto maintain your enrolment and you must attend you class as usual.• Iftheinternaloranyexternalcomplainthandlingorappealprocessresultsin a decision that supports you, Victory Institute will immediately implement any decisionand/orcorrectiveandpreventativeactionrequiredandadviseyouof the outcome.
