1) What is an example of a vascular plant?
2) What is the big difference between vascular and nonvascular plants?
Almost all plants on earth are vascular plants.
There are lots of different kinds of vascular plants, but most fall into one of two categories.
Vascular plants can be flowering or non-flowering.
Sometimes the flower on the flowering plant is really small.
Examples of flowering plants: lily, rose, grass
Another word for flowering plant is angiosperm
Examples of nonflowering plants: coniferous trees, ferns.
Coniferous trees are plants with spiky leaves and cones
Deciduous trees can be flowering or nonflowering•Deciduous trees are trees that lose their leaves in the winter
