Most obviously, we have a new car park – spacious and well set out…

We have since early December been involved in a whirlwind of physical (and virtual) change involving both our buildings and our grounds – changes which continue even as this is being written.

Improvements to main building continue: new gas central heating has been installed and full rewiring is imminent.

our clinic is growing...We have one new Reflexologist, one new Masseuse, and two new Reiki practitioners. And we can now offer beauty treatments as well!

…and thriving Our low cost counselling service now includes 25 counsellors (See p9 for full list of counselling options).

Alexander TechniqueRenowned for its benefits to back pain sufferers, Alexander Technique teaches us how to sit, stand, lie and move in ways which minimise chronic muscular & spinal tension. Especially useful in stress relief, it also helps asthma and insomnia. Wear loose clothing & bring a mat or blanket and 2-3 paperbacks.

Moving Mindfully is a unique movement, alignment and relaxation class which carefully combines key elements of Pilates, Yoga and T’ai Chi and incorporates the Alexander principles of excellent use of the spine and joints. The exercise ball is a wonderful Pilates tool for improving core strength and developing the abdominal and back muscles. Exercising ‘on the ball’ – which continually moves slightly beneath you as you work – can also increase overall flexibility and mobility. And it’s such fun to do! Open to both beginners and more experienced Pilates students. (You will need to provide your own ball.)duration 13 weekshalf-term week of 27 Maytutor Rachel Luck ModernPilatesI,II&III,GordonThompson’sBodyControlReformerand Cadillac,
