Five friends parked in an underground garage, and they cannotremember where they left their car! So they split up andsearched the garage. Read the descriptions of their tripsbetween levels. Use integers to show on which level eachperson started and the change in their locations. Then, namethe level where they exited the elevator and label their namesat that level on the diagram.

Challenge Going Up or Down?

1. Tammy got on the elevator on theground level. Then she rode downseven levels and got off the elevator.
