Review

The suffix /able/ is added to words to make an adjective. Adding /able/ changes the word to “able to be” + word. Ex: changeable= able to change

A friendly letter has 5 parts; the heading, greeting, body, closing, and signature

We can write letters to friends that we don't get to see often.

Spelling

Suffix /sion/ and /tion/Both suffixes make the /shun/ sound.

They change a verb into a noun.

Adding /tion/ and /sion/ change the word to “the action, result, or state of” +

word

Examples:Addition= act of addingEducation= the result of educating

Choose your favorite story to make into a book.

The story can be fiction or non-fiction.

Use your brainstorming to help you separate your story into pages.

Write your title and name on the cover and the title page.

The title page just has the information in the middle of the page with no illustration.
