Poverty Level in Asia

• Understand the relationship between human development and poverty in Asia

• Give an assessment of the Asian population based on gender, literacy, life expectancy, income, composition, etc.

• Recognize the importance of having a high literacy rate in a country.

• Analyze the relationship between economic development and human resources of Asian countries.

• Reflect on the effects and how people could contribute to the alleviation of poverty especially in the Philippines.

• Income poverty– Basis of poverty:
