Formatting is the first thing that a reader notices about a document, and will affect the reader’s opinion of the document. The use of large-size fonts, color, shading, and borders can be used to attract the viewer’s attention to specific parts of the document. Changing the alignment of different parts of a document can also be used to attract the viewer’s attention.
