What is a textile design?

Textile design is essentially the process of creating designs for woven, knitted or printed fabrics or surface ornamented fabrics

You will create a design for textiles with letters, numbers, and ordinary

symbols as topics of interest

Materials: paper(sketchbook) and crayons1. Clearly imagine your intended textile design.2. Use different colors of crayon in drawing the

letters, numbers, and other ordinary symbols.

3. Apply different degrees of thickness, thinness, hardness, and softness; and use different forms of letters, numbers, and symbols in mounting the design.

4. You may apply light color on the background.
