The artwork I chose is called“ The Mona Lisa “ it is from one of the most famous portrait in the world. It was created at 1503 and it was done at 1507.

What is the subject of the artwork? What medium did the artist use for this artwork?

The subject in my artwork is a portrait of Lisa del Giocondo from Italy. Leonardo Da Vinci used oil paint for his art piece that he created.

Why did you choose this particular artwork/and or artist?

I chose this particular artist “ Leonardo Da Vinci “ because he inspired me a lot with his art work, hard work and genius ideas. I chose this particular artwork because it was one of my favorite and Da Vinci worked really hard on it, he worked for 4 years! Which is honestly a lot!.
