HELICOPTERS
The Helicopter Division performs research, design, development, production, customer support and marketing of Leonardo’s extensive range of AgustaWestland products: modern helicopters for commercial, public service, and security and defence applications.
• The Division manages the entire helicopter development and production cycle.
• Current production covers all the main helicopter weight categories, from the 1.8 tonne single-engine to the 16 tonne three-engine.
• All the helicopters are dual commercial and military use platforms except some specific military platforms (Super Lynx 300, AW159, NH90 and AW101).
• The AW139, AW169, and AW189 models are part of a family of new generation helicopters, allfeaturing the same design philosophy and the samecertification and safety standards.
• The Division is also committed to the study and introduction into the market of innovative technologies and platforms, including the tiltrotorAW609 that combines the advantages of the fixed-wing aircraft's speed/range/altitude with the helicopter's ability to vertically take off/land and hover into one platform, and remotely controlled/optionally piloted helicopters

AIRCRAFTThe Aircraft Division is engaged in the design, development, production, logistic support and crew training for trainer aircraft, military aircraft, aircraft for special missions, unmanned systems and nacelles.
• Training− from initial screening with the SF-260 to basic-
advanced training on the new M-345 HET and into the most advanced phase with the M-346
− the offer also includes integrated Ground Based Training System (GBTS) designed to allow an efficient and effective military pilots and ground crew training that includes Live, Virtual, and Constructive environment

AEROSTRUCTURES
The Aerostructure Division designs, builds, tests and integrates structures and components for the major civil aircraft programmes in Europe and in the US, with the following entities:
• Boeing, with the supplying of advancedcomposite aerostructures for the 787 Dreamliner (2 fuselage sections and the horizontal stabilizer) and the 767 and 777.
• Airbus, with aerostructures developed for the A380, the largest civil aircraft in service, aswell as for the A320 and A321.
• the ATR family (developed by a consortium owned by Leonardo and Airbus Group), for which the Division manufactures all fuselagescomplete with tail surfaces.
The Aerostructure Division holds a significant market position in the processing of large structural composite and traditional material components.

The Airborne & Space Systems Division’s wide range of products and solutions includes:

LAND & NAVAL DEFENCE ELECTRONICS
The Land & Naval Defence Electronics Division designs, develops and manufactures land and naval systems solutions providing information superiority, situational awareness, command and control capability, weapon systems management and network communications to Armed Forces.
• The Division provides the complete capability to control the battlefield through the C4I (Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Intelligence) national strategic commands, e.g. the Forza NEC programme as well as Border and Territory Control and Force Protection (FOB).
• The radar offer ranges from the traditional RAT 31 long-range ATBM radar to the technological evolution of KRONOS multifunctional electronically scanned array systems to cover the needs of a complete Air Defence System.
• In the Naval Domain, the Division offers Combat Systems solutions for any type of ship. AESA C-X-L band multifunctional KRONOS sensors fixed and rotating, dual band fire control radar (NA30SMK2), and a complete suite of EOsensors and Communications are integrated in our Combat Management System (ATHENA) providing fast reaction and Naval dominance.

DEFENCE SYSTEMS
The Defence Systems Division designs, develops and produces weapon systems in the fields of artillery, ammunition and torpedoes, and additionally armoured vehicles in cooperation with IVECO:
• a wide spectrum of land and naval artilleries ranging from small calibre to the largest ones currently used by NATO countries.
• conventional, guided and special ammunition (DART and VULCANO family) of various calibres.
• unmanned ground, sea and underwatervehicles.
• armaments for military helicopters and aircraft.

The Security & Information Systems Division improves the security and safety of economic and social environments by leveraging the synergies among information technology, secure communications networks, physical and logical security. The Division provides:
• integrated systems for the security and control of the territory, for the protection of public and private critical infrastructure, as well as for the safety of major events, such as Milano Expo 2015.
• innovative solutions to combat cyber threats, such as the "turnkey" system for the NATO Computer Incident Response Capability(NCIRC), providing services to more than 70,000 NATO users in 29 countries.

MBDA
MBDA (37.5% BAE Systems, 37.5% Airbus Group, 25% Leonardo) is a world leader in missiles and missile systems, capable of designing and producing products that meet the full range operational needs worldwide, such as the MARTE medium range anti-ship missile family and the METEOR Beyond Visual Range air-to-air missile, meant to meet the requirements of six European nations for future air combat scenarios and capable of being integrated on Europe’s major fighter platforms (Eurofighter Typhoon, Gripen, Rafale).

ATR
ATR (50% Leonardo and 50% Airbus Group) is the most successful in the global market for regional twin-engine turboprop aircraft, with over 1,500 aircraft sold and more than 200 operators in nearly 100 countries worldwide. The latest version in production, known as the -600 series, features digital avionics, new, comfortable interiors, and reduced operational costs. The aircraft is now available in the 50-seat version (ATR 42) and 70-seat version (ATR 72). All fuselages, complete with tail surfaces, are built and fitted out by the Aerostructure Division in Italy.
