Kyle constructed the bench in memory of Bob and Ester Collins for all the years they contributed to 4-H. Students recognized in poster contest The 122nd alumni banquet of New Holland High School was held June 4 in the New Holland Community Center with 85 alumni and guests in attendance. All veterans and service men and women were asked to stand , and Kay Oughte rson gave a tribute to them. Rev. H. Robert Rowe gave the invocation before the meal wa s serve d by the New Hol land Unit ed Meth odis t Church. Lana Durflinger introduced the members present from the 50-y ear class of 1961 . Pau l Hurtt introduced the members present from the 60-year class of 1951. Dan Roberts, Miami Trace superintendent, brought greet- ings and thanke d all for their ded icati on to the school and education for all. Faye Helsel from the com- munity center board stated this was her last time serving. She thank ed all board members and gave special thanks to Dav id and Grac e Orihood, Russell and Evelyn Jacobs and all board members for their dedicated work. Fay e Hels el was given a special thanks for all her dedi- cated work. Chris Sprouse was thanked for all his work on the sch ool history and for doing the programs for the evenin g. Geraldine Sells, a graduate of the class of 1935, was wel- comed and given special con- gratulations during the roll call of classes by Ann Thompson.
