Economic Development:I want my term on City Council to be fo-
cused on a renewed push for economic de-
velopment. Having a variety of thriving busi-
nesses helps disburse the tax burden and
lessens the pressure on residents to fill the
gap.
Expanding our reach:
I believe that it is important to reach out to
and develop positive working relationships
with state and federal elected officials.
Having our local government and local
elected officials partner with those on the
state and federal level to access the re-
sources is necessary to reinvigorate Rad-
ford’s economy

On the Issues:I am committed to a city where young families
will come to have their children experience a
quality education and where they will remain as
they move towards retirement. I believe that a
well-functioning city has something of value for
everyone no matter where they are in their life.
Education:As a father and grandfather I am committed to
preserving the high quality education that Rad-
ford City Schools is known for. I applaud Radford
City Schools for making the commitment that
every senior can graduate from high school.
Having an high school diploma is an important
step in being successful as a young adult.
