Even when programs are free, we ask that you call
ahead to say you plan to attend. Sometimes a
presentation is cancelled due to low enrollment or
instructor illness and we will phone to save you a trip
if that happens.
NEW CHECK-IN PROCEDURE:
Please remember to bring your blue Department of
Parks and Recreation swipe pass when you come to
Lee Senior Center and check-in at the front desk. If
you need a new one, we are happy to request one for
which programs you would like to receive electronic
correspondence about.

Residential options for older adults are many. Some
include staying in your home, moving in with
roommates, or joining a retirement community. Your
short term preferences and long term goals will
determine which situation is best for you. Presented

Meet once a month with other ancestry enthusiasts to
trace your roots and learn about the people who
make up your family tree. It requires some detective
work and basic research but it’s a pursuit that can
take you to some unexpected places with surprising
results.
AMERICANS IN PARIS

In the late 19th century, American artist by the
hundreds – including such luminaries as James
Abbot etc. were drawn irresistibly to Paris to learn to
paint and establish their reputations. The world’s
artistic epicenter, Paris inspired decisive changes in
American painters’ styles and subject, and stimulated
the creation of newly sophisticated art schools and
professional standards back in the United States.
