MIC, as an organization that aspires to become a frontrunner in the LED revolution, understands its commitment towards nature. MIC began its journey in December, 1985 at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. The 30 years that followed brought out the absolute best in the organization, and MIC extended its own realms of possibilities with every successful year.

Starting with Electronic display, MIC steadily ventured into the development and implementation of LED technology in display. The organization started focusing on exporting its products and services in 1994, which only went on to accentuate its fundamental strengths.

Housing Housing comprises of rugged pressure die cast high quality aluminium casing powder coated with silver colour and covered with toughened glass. Conforms to Ingress Protection level IP68. Can be pole mounted or surface (optional) mounted. Operating Temp : 0°C to +60°C Thermal Management Efficient thermal management is the key for long life of LEDs and our patent pending housing incorporates the best thermal management via a split fin design to dissipate heat faster and away from the LEDs and ensuring optimum efficiency as well as assured long life span. Illumination Secondary optics (lens) are used for optimum light distribution. A combination of two different lens have been used in the street light to get the optimum bat wing illumination pattern. Solar Home Light

Solar Panel Solar Panel is the power source of the system, has a very long life and comes with a standard warranty of 10‐15 years.

Control Box The control box consists of charge controller and with various inputs and outputs. The charge controller receives the solar energy from the solar panel and regulates the charging of the battery. Optimum and efficient battery charging is critical for prolonging the life of the battery. The control box has input from the solar panel, connections to the battery, output sockets for lights, fans, mobile chargers etc.

Battery Battery is the life of the system. Tubular batteries have a long life and are warranted for 5 years. These are ideal for use in homes.

LED Lights MIC offers the best in class LED tube lights and bulbs. LED lights are environmentally friendly and also consume less power yet giving the same amount of light. No replacement of lights is needed as LED lights work flawlessly for 10‐15 years. LED Tube lights (9W) give a very high light output of 550lumens.

Other Loads In low end SHL systems the load is typically 1 or 2 LED Lights with LED Lantern and in higher systems 4 LED Tube Lights/Bulbs, Lantern, Angel Light, 4 Mobile Chargers, Fans, TV etc.

Inverter and Accessories Inverter is provided in high end systems where is there provision of powering AC loads like TV, Refrigerator, Ceiling Fans, Tube Lights etc. High quality wiring is provided with our systems and the lengths have been provided after careful consideration of rural conditions.

Total Meter Readings: It shows the accumulated power consumption of all the switch points.

Configured: It shows the number of switch points for which connected load is configured. It helps in detecting Overload & light failures.
