To enable the students to:– Demonstrate the understanding of the history and

the big picture of the field of biomedical equipment technology and the medical equipment management.


Module Aims

• To enable the students to: – Demonstrate the understanding of the duties and

responsibilities, career development path, and the position of the hospital organizational structure of the biomedical equipment technician and the professional and social interrelationships between services.

The student will be able to – Demonstrate the understanding of the

development in biomedical equipment technology.

– Demonstrate the understanding of the background history and biomedical equipment management.
