Special Lesson 1:Feast of All SaintsIn this lesson, the children learned that the Feast of All Saints celebrates holy people who were followers of Jesus. The children also learned that they are part of the Communion of Saints, all people living and dead who follow Jesus and act like saints. The children considered ways they could act like saints. They learned about Saint Paul, an apostle who preached the Gospel on his many travels and wrote letters telling others about Jesus. The children participated in a parade as friends of Jesus. They made lanterns to remember that saints showed Jesus’ light when they were on earth.

Special Lesson 9: Mother’s DayIn this lesson, the children talked about their mothers and learned that Mary, the Mother of Jesus, is also their Mother in heaven. They were encouraged to show love and appreciation for their mothers on earth and for their Mother Mary in heaven. They thanked God for their mother on earth and their Mother Mary.

However, at age three and a half, children may experience a period of rebellion. Your child needs your patience and understanding as he or she learns to deal with life and cope with the challenges of being human.

Special Lesson 10: Father’s DayIn this lesson, the children learned that Father’s Day is a day to show love for their fathers and to thank them for all they do. They talked about their fathers and acted out what they do with their fathers. They heard that Jesus called God “our Father in heaven.”
